About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the AWS ecosystem, deep experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) — particularly with Terraform — and the ability to architect infrastructure that supports high availability, performance, and business agility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS-based infrastructure environments to support enterprise applications and services.

• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code best practices using Terraform for repeatable, automated deployments.

• Collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance, scalability, and cost optimization goals.

• Architect solutions for complex environments including VPC design, IAM policies, networking, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

• Develop CI/CD pipelines to deploy infrastructure and applications reliably and securely.

• Evaluate new AWS services and recommend improvements for existing architecture and tooling.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and documentation for infrastructure design patterns and standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience: 7+ years in cloud infrastructure roles, with at least 4 years in AWS architecture.

• Required Skills:

  • Deep understanding of AWS core services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)

  • Advanced Terraform skills, including modular infrastructure design and state management

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles in the cloud

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline)

  • Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or equivalent.
