Job description – US IT Recruiter
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruiting processes ensuring a positive candidate experience through the interview (attract, select, interview, negotiate and extend offer)
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods.
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Collaborating with team members to understand positions and recruiting needs.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the
selection process. - Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing
goals are achieved. - Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as
succession planning needs dictate. - Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring
managers. - Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques and best practices in HR.
- Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and
email tracking recruiting activities and providing weekly activity reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Knowledge regarding recruitment and selection methods and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews.
- Demonstrated initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
- Background or current experience in recruiting for Information Technology is a plus.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
