Job description – US IT Recruiter

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting processes ensuring a positive candidate experience through the interview (attract, select, interview, negotiate and extend offer)
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Collaborating with team members to understand positions and recruiting needs.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the
    selection process.
  • Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing
    goals are achieved.
  • Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as
    succession planning needs dictate.
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring
    managers.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques and best practices in HR.
  • Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and
    email tracking recruiting activities and providing weekly activity reporting.

  • Knowledge regarding recruitment and selection methods and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • Demonstrated initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Background or current experience in recruiting for Information Technology is a plus.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
