Summary of Position:
The role involves reviewing and enhancing the implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Terraform pipelines for Electronic Data Sources (EDS). Key responsibilities include conducting a gap analysis of existing Terraform scripts against Customer Data Platform (CDP) requirements and recommending AWS best practices for pipeline optimization. The position requires modularizing the CI/CD Terraform pipeline to facilitate secure and efficient onboarding of AWS services. Additionally, the role entails designing and implementing a data ingestion framework to support common ingestion patterns identified by CDP teams, as well as a data quality framework to capture metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all data products within the CDP.

What you'll be doing:
- Review the electronic data sources ("EDS") continuous integration and continuous delivery ("CI/CD") Terraform pipeline implementation.
- Review the current EDS Terraform scripts to perform gap analysis against CDP requirements by recommending AWS best practices to implement the CI/CD Terraform pipelines.
- Modularize the Cl/CD Terraform pipeline for secured and faster onboarding of AWS services.
- Deliverable: AWS will review and deliver CI/CD Terraform pipeline for the CDP.
- Design and implement a data ingestion framework to accommodate the common data ingestion patterns identified by the CDP squads in planned iterations based on Customer CDP program increment ("P|") priority.
- Deliverable: AWS will review and deliver a data ingestion framework to support ingestion data patterns.
- Design and implement a data quality framework to capture data quality metrics and key performance indicators ("KPIs") for all the data products within the CDP.
- Deliverable: AWS will review and deliver a data quality framework to support data lifecycle patterns.
- Design and implement observability functionality for CDP, which may include:
- Monitoring AWS services
- Status and performance of data pipelines in Databricks
- Defining, monitoring, and alerting platform and data workload service level agreements ("SLAS")
- Application telemetry on data consumers to include, application programming interface ('APIs", analytic jobs, and etc.
Qualifications:
- 15 years of total experience with significant expertise in Terraform
- Strong expertise in AWS design and solutions.
- Proficiency in Terraform, including writing and maintaining complex Terraform scripts and modules.
- Experience supporting cloud platforms based on AWS/GCP/Azure
